The District Crime Branch on Tuesday moved the Tindivanam Judicial Magistrate Court after failing twice in its attempts to serve summons on Puducherry Transport and Education Minister P.M.L. Kalyanasundaram, who is facing charges of impersonation in Class X supplementary examinations held at Tindivanam last month. In its petition, the DCB stated that the summons were sent through proper channel seeking the appearance of the Minister for investigation in the case.
The Minister was expected to appear before the DCB in response to the second summons sent on Tuesday, but failed to turn up.

Educational qualification is not considered for getting elected as peoplel's representative as a law maker. Kamaraj was a great national leader, and we do not know about Sonia Gandhi's educational qualification. But the integrity of the Minister is of course questionable. He should be ashamed of doing such a thing and quit.
Is there something basically wrong with our electoral laws, how can a man who has not passed 10th become a lawmaker and that to an education minister, while an ordinary clerk anywhere should have not only passed 10th standard but is expected to have more qualifications, any citizen of India can contest elections but are we not making a fool out of ourselves, how can we expect better laws from uneducated people? Looks like the very basics of this great country is flawed.
