DMK president M. Karunanidhi on Wednesday said agriculturists, labourers, poor and downtrodden looked to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to fulfil their aspirations.
“I am sure with your profound wisdom and meaningful experience, you will meet their expectations,” Mr. Karunanidhi said in his birthday greetings to Dr Manmohan Singh. Mr. Karunanidhi said India was going through a critical phase and the Prime Minister had been playing a very important role in finding solutions to the problems and challenges facing the country.
