Members of Parliament and Legislative Assembly belonging to the AIADMK will meet at the party headquarters in Chennai on July 18. Chairman of the AIADMK presidium E. Madhusudanan will preside over the meeting, according to a release issued by party general secretary and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The meeting comes on the eve of the Presidential election and is likely to be an occasion to give instructions to legislators on the manner of voting. The AIADMK is backing P.A. Sangma for the post.
