Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah said on Wednesday he had not received any summons from the Principal Court for Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Hyderabad, but made it clear that if it arrived, the matter would be examined legally.
Summons were allegedly issued on June 18 asking him to appear before the court on August 2 in connection with a criminal case over the allotment of over nine acres of prime land near Maitrivanam at Ameerpet in Hyderabad. The land was allegedly allotted in favour of G.N. Naidu, chairman of Regency Ceramics and 16 others.
“Let me receive it and it will be looked into from legal angles,” Mr. Rosaiah told reporters on the sidelines of a function here. He said he had learnt about the matter through the media.
