Four men, including a Srilankan national were arrested for possession of heroin in Pushpavanam, Vedaranyam, on Tuesday. The accused Suryakarthi(21), Senthil alias Senthil Kumar(37), Madhan alias Anthony Paul(35) and Muruganantham(38), were arrested for possession of one kilogram of heroin.
Of the arrested, Anthony Paul is a Srilankan national, while other three belong to Vedaranyam. The arrest made by the Q Branch has since been transferred to Narcotics Intelligence Bureau CID.
