Jayalalithaa condoles actor's death

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa expressed condolences to the family of actor Ravichandran who died on Monday night. In a message, Ms. Jayalalithaa said she was shocked to hear the death of the veteran actor.

Starting with his first film ‘Kaadhalikka Neramillai,' he has acted in about 180 films, including ‘Kumari Pen', ‘Naan', ‘Moonrezhuthu', ‘Idhaya Kamalam' and ‘Adhey Kangal.' Beginning his acting career in 1964, he earned name as a director as well. His death was a great loss to Tamil cinema, she said.
