Goa's former Tourism Minister, Micky Pacheco, and his former Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Lyndon Monteiro, on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court seeking anticipatory bail.

The South Goa Sessions Court and later the Bombay High Court in Goa had rejected their pleas for anticipatory bail, ruling that their custodial interrogation was required in connection with the unnatural death of Ms. Nadia Torrado, said to be a close friend of Mickky Pacheco.

Meanwhile, in Goa, the Crime Branch of the State police investigating the case on Tuesday interrogated Sara Pacheco, estranged wife of Mr. Pacehco. Ms. Pacheco was issued summons by the police in their bid to try and elicit information about Mr. Pacheco's behaviour and also about his whereabouts, said sources in the Crime Branch.
