Mobile court for differently abled on Nov. 23

Panaji: For the first time, the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD) in collaboration with the Goa State Commissioner for PwDs will hold a day-long mobile court at Margao on November 23.

Anuradha Joshi, Goa State Commissioner for PwDs, told The Hindu on Saturday that over 30 mobile courts have been held by the CCPD in 18 states.

She said grievances of PwDs on various issues will be heard in the mobile court and orders will be passed on the spot provided complaints reach the office of the State Commissioner in prescribed form by November 10.

The CCPD came into existence in 1998.
