KSRTC to give bonus, festival allowance

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to give bonus, Onam advance, and festival and performance allowance to the staff on the rolls and the pensioners on September 12. The formalities were being completed and it would be credited to the bank accounts of the staff on September 12.

All employees of the Corporation who drew a monthly salary of up to Rs.10,000 during the fiscal would be eligible for the bonus of 8.33 per cent. The empanelled staff, casual workers and daily workers would get a festival allowance of Rs.1,600. The staff who were not eligible for bonus would get Rs.2,200 as festival allowance.

The service pensioners would get Rs.2,200 as festival allowance and those who were not eligible would get Rs.670.

Pensioners

Ex-gratia pensioners, who were not eligible for festival allowance and bonus, would get Rs.850.

Those appointed by the PSC, under dying in harness scheme, as reserve staff and permanent staff and officers would get Rs.4,000 as Onam advance. The amount would be recovered in five instalments from salaries.

Those who were not eligible for the allowance and those officers who were in the permanent rolls on September 1 would get Rs.1,750 as performance allowance.
