Mohammed panel directive

The Admission Supervisory Committee headed by the former judge of the High Court P.A. Mohammed has asked the institutions offering professional courses to submit their admission procedures for verification.

Instructions had been issued directly and through media releases to institutions offering MBBS, Medical PG, BDS, MDS, Ayurveda, B.Pharm., Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing), MBA, MCA, B.Ed., M.Ed., B.Sc. MLT, BPT, MPT, BASLP and MASLP courses, said an official communication from the office of the committee.

The High Court had said that every step of the admission process should be verified by the committee. Strict action would be initiated against institutions failing to submit the details.

The next meeting of the committee would be held on October 17, the communication said.
