Kerala Assembly to meet from Dec. 10

The Cabinet on Monday recommended to the Governor the convening of the State Assembly from December 10 to 21.

The House will sit for ten days during this period mainly to consider legislations. Several Ordinance promulgated by the Governor is awaiting replacement by the House.

Besides, the government is likely to introduce a few new legislations during the session.

The Cabinet had met specially to take the decision on Monday since convening of the Assembly normally requires two weeks’ notice to the members.
