The 'Leader' passes away

A political era has come to an end with the death of former Kerala Chief Minister K. Karunakaran, fondly called by his supporters as 'Leader'. Mr. Karunakaran was under treatment at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram for the past two weeks. He suffered a stroke on Wednesday following which his condition worsened.
