Labour Minister B.N. Bache Gowda said here on Tuesday that the State government has set a target to register five lakh drivers of private commercial vehicles under the government sponsored Private Commercial Vehicle Drivers’ Accident Relief Scheme in 2012-13.
It is a scheme under which the registered beneficiaries need not pay the premium amount. They just have to get their names registered with the Unorganised Workers’ Social Security Council by paying Rs. 25.
