Results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and second-year pre-university (PU) examinations are expected to be announced on May 17 and May 23 respectively.
Even as Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri announced the dates in Sirsi on Friday, some officials in SSLC Board here said that there were “several processes still to be completed”.
As many as 8.5 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examination and evaluation has been completed. About six lakh students appeared for PU examination.
Mr. Kageri said the PU results were ready to be announced, but the department had decided wait till May 23 since the CET was being held on May 21 and 22.
