Fire in Thane oil factory

Fire broke out on Monday in an oil factory in Shahpur town in neighbouring Thane district, fire brigade officials said.

The incident took place around 8 a.m.on Tuesday morning, they said.

Five water tankers and five fire engines have been rushed to the spot at Liberty Edible Oil factory, officials said.

The reason behind the fire is not yet known and no casualties have been reported so far.
