Alienation of land by AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) to Emaar MGF on the outskirts of Hyderabad to develop a leisure and residential township is snowballing into a major controversy with Congress leaders looking at the party's central leadership to seriously look into the whole issue.

Congress politics has suddenly electrified after the demand by two former Ministers – D. L. Ravindra Reddy and J. C. Diwakar Reddy -- for a CBI probe into their allegations of irregularities in allotment of 535 acres of land to Emaar MGF, to develop Boulder Hills Gold and Country Club. Unfazed by the attack, loyalists of MP Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy dared their rivals to prevail upon the government to order a probe.

200-page report

Dr. Ravindra Reddy reportedly prepared a 200-page report on the violations and is likely to send it to the central leadership in a day or two for further action. He is said to be planning to dig more into the deals done by APIIC, including allotment of land to Raheja Mind Space.
