A ‘chalo Hyderabad’ programme with the objective of mobilising thousands of people belonging to weaker sections from all over the State would be held here on Tuesday to highlight the carnage against SCs at Laxmipet village in Srikakulam district recently. A meeting would be organised to mark the occasion at Indira Park which will be addressed by a SC leader at the national level Udit Raj and balladeer Gadar, said AP Dalit Mahasabha president Katti Padma Rao. The programme is sponsored by the Mahasabha.

He said the meeting will discuss the role of AP Congress Committee president Botcha Satyanarayana in the incident. The efforts of the government to shield Mr. Satyanarayana and other culprits and the indifference of political parties towards the plight of the victims would be exposed.
