A.P. Employees, Teachers and Workers’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman P. Ashok Babu said an action plan was being formulated to mount pressure on the State government to annul the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).

Addressing a JAC meeting here on Sunday, he said employees would suffer from CPS and that the State should listen to their woes.

He demanded that the State release two instalments of dearness allowance and distribute health cards to all the eligible ones at the earliest. He lamented that neither the Centre nor the State was considering their pleas for scrapping CPS despite agitations.
