Congress president Sonia Gandhi is on a week-long private visit to the Lakshadweep Islands to celebrate the New Year along with her family, officials said here on Friday.
The UPA (United Progressive Alliance) Chairperson arrived here on Thursday from Goa along with her mother Paola Maino, daughter Priyanka Gandhi and son-in-law Robert Vadra, they said.
AICC (All India Congress Committee) general secretary Rahul Gandhi is also likely to join them, they said.
