Thanks for your bold step,we need resources to improve our infrastrucure so it is acceptable to hike the ticket price. Moreover, it is a very slight hike.Keep going, all the best for your future endeavours. Special thanks for your emphasis on safety.

i am very much in favor of the railway budget put forth this time as Mumbai desperately needs up-gradation in the local train system. Nobody can understand what the local people are going through while sitting at their homes. One needs to pay for the services he expects. Please dont change the budget.

There is a station called Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh where I am
posted. This station badly needs upgradation. Still old signalling
system is being followed. Doubling of track is very essential so
also electrification. Singrauli has only one Platform. At least
there should be two platforms. No direct trains to Chennai or New
Delhi. Either we have to go to Jabalpur or Varanasi to Board the
train. Request introduction of Direct trains to Chennai and Delhi.
The distance for either Varanasi or Katni is approx 200 to 250 kms
but it take 7 to 8 hrs to reach the place due to single track.
Request Railways to do something for this route.
