President visits Tripura
President Ram Nath Kovind is in Tripura to inaugurate the renovated 128km Agartala-Sabrom national highway from Udaipur. The President will be attending various programmes in Agartala and Udaipur. Mr. Kovind and his wife will offer puja at Tripureswari temple, in Udaipur.

Many Mumbaikars woke up to thunder and rain on Thursday morning.
Mumbai saw moderate rainfall on Thursday from 6 a.m. onwards. Colaba has recorded 12mm rainfall on BMC’s automated weather systems. Other areas with moderate rainfall include Dharavi (20mm),Goregaon (26mm), Malad (18mm), and Andheri (20mm).

Macedonia and Greece launched negotiations this year to end their 27-year name dispute, which has hampered Macedonia’s efforts to join NATO and the European Union. While the Macedonia government in Skopje denies it has designs on the Greek province, Athens says the name Macedonia also represents the ancient Greek heritage typified by Alexander, who started from northern Greece to carve out an empire reaching India.
Palestine thanks Argentina
