Flying into India on Air Force One on November 6, a day after Diwali, U.S. President Barack Obama will take part in celebrations at a local school in Mumbai.

Mr. Obama will stay at the Taj Hotel, the centrepiece of the 26/11 terrorist attacks. He will take time to pay his respects to those who lost their lives, sign the guest book there and make some brief remarks to a group of people who suffered because of the attacks, the White House announced in Washington.

After a visit to the Gandhi Museum, Mr. Obama will take part in three events at the business summit being organised by the U.S.-India Business Council that includes roundtable meeting with entrepreneurs and with U.S. CEOs and then deliver a speech focusing on the economic relationships.

On November 7, the President will visit a local school and take part in Diwali celebrations. Later, he will meet with university students.
