'Caravan' migrants

U.S. immigration lawyers are telling Central Americans in a caravan of asylum-seekers that traveled through Mexico to the border with San Diego that they face possible separation from their children and detention for many months. They say they want to prepare them for the worst.

Visak Bochea day is the birthday of Buddha and falls on the 15th day of the waxing moon in the 6th lunar month. The day is traditionally observed by Buddhists and some Hindus on different days in different countries as “Buddha's Birthday”.

A deadly fire broke out in a factory in Pingzhen District, in northern Taiwan’s Taoyuan City on Saturday night. Many firefighters who were involved in the resuce operations are reported to be missing.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sunday started his Middle East tour to strengthen relationships with countries in the region. Mr. Abe will be touring the regions until May 3 and will be visiting the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Israel and Palestine.
