The JMM, now a catalyst for forming government in Jharkhand said on Thursday that any group wanting its support should back Shibu Soren for the Chief-Ministership of the state.
“Let the results officially be announced. But, the party's stand is whoever will support Guruji (JMM chief Shibu Soren) for chief ministership), will get our support,” the party's Central Committee Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said.
JMM has won 16 seats in the 81-member House.
Senior JMM leader Hemlal Murmu said, “We will explore options of a government led by the JMM. As a second option, we will see which combination can provide a stable government.”
