We can move forward, says Hina

Pakistan's youngest and first woman Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on arrival here on Tuesday expressed the hope that New Delhi and Islamabad would have “learnt lessons from history without being burdened by it.”

A subject of great curiosity in India owing to her profile, the Minister — who comes from a well-connected political family and has changed parties — articulated the hope that “we can move forward as good, friendly neighbours who have a stake in each other's future and both the countries understand their responsibilities to the region and within the region.”
