Pink City to host live demonstrations in November

Renowned artists from all over India and the globe will demonstrate their talent live at the second edition of the Jaipur Art Summit, which is scheduled to be held in the Pink City next month.

The performances will be witnessed during the ‘Asian Art Camp’, which is one of the important segments of the summit to be held between November 14 and 18.

Twelve artists will participate in the ‘Asian Art Camp’ in which they will begin and complete a painting in a live demonstration. This will give a unique opportunity to students, art lovers and critics to see how a painting takes shape, said Timmie Kumar, chairperson of the organising committee of the summit.

The summit is supported by a group of senior artists of the State aiming at giving contemporary Indian art a global platform. It will bring together different mediums and genres, culture, historians, critics, institutions and galleries .A contemporary art exhibition, five-day Asian Art Camp, a two-day seminar, demonstrations of art and art processes, installations and evenings filled with fun, food and music are on the agenda.
