“Wage Board report by December 31”

September 09, 2010 12:12 am | Updated 12:12 am IST - KOCHI

Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi on Wednesday assured journalists that the Wage Board headed by G.R. Majithia, former judge, would submit its recommendations by December 31 and the government would see that these were implemented.

If there were complaints over the recommendations, they would be looked into.

Addressing a joint meeting of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists and the Kerala Newspaper Employees' Federation here, the Minister said there was no justification for the delay in getting the final recommendations of the board.
