Victim seeks CBI probe

The rape victim from Rajasthan, who has accused Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Nihal Chand and 16 others of sexually assaulting her, on Tuesday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to “hear her case and urgently intervene in the matter.” She has also sought a probe by Central Bureau of Investigation and police protection.

The girl said, “I want to live my life. I don’t want this case to drag on forever in courts.”
