Stating that TMC ministers would submit their resignations to the Prime Minister later in the day, he told PTI “This is a minority government and the act of bypassing the Parliament is most unethical.”

“According to our schedule we will go to the Prime Minister’s house at 3 p.m. for submitting our resignations and after that we will proceed to the Rashtrapatti Bhavan” for communicating through a letter the party’s stand that all India TMC is withdrawing support from “this anti-people government,” Mr. Roy said.

Besides Mr. Roy, who is Railway minister, there are five union ministers of state belonging to the party.
