U.P. offers Rs. 20 lakh, Delhi Rs. 15 lakh to victim’s family

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced Rs. 20 lakh in financial assistance for the family of the Delhi gang-rape victim, who hailed from Ballia district.

Mr. Yadav had earlier announced a job for a family member and Rs. 5 lakh in financial assistance.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government announced Rs. 15 lakh in financial aid and a job for a family member.
