Two Gujarat ministers injured in road mishap

Revenue Minister Anandi Patel and Minister of State for Women and Child Welfare Vasu Trivedi were injured in a road mishap on the Express Highway in Kheda district, police said.

The incident took place near Chaklasi village on the highway this morning when the two were travelling together in a car.

According to police, the minister’s vehicle hit a car, which had crashed into a truck earlier.

Both the ministers and their driver, received minor injuries and were admitted to SAL Hospital here.

SAL hospital spokesperson Mahesh Yagnik said Patel and Trivedi were under observation and the driver, who suffered bruises has been discharged.
