Two BSF men among four dead in Delhi accident

Four persons including two BSF men were killed and eight injured on Sunday night when a private bus rammed into a van ferrying the paramilitary personnel, in BRT corridor in south Delhi, police said.

The accident took place in Sadiq Nagar around 11 pm.

According to a senior police official, the tourist bus hit the divider while trying to save a motorcyclist, and then rammed into the BSF van.

The bus was coming from Chirag Dilli and the van was going towards Moolchand, he said.

Four persons were brought dead to the AIIMS trauma centre while the eight injured, most of them BSF personnel, were being treated, hospital sources said.

The condition of three injured, including the driver of the tourist bus, was very serious, they said.

The deceased have been identified as BSF driver Ranveer, jawan Deepak, and two motorcyclists — Sanjay and Surendra.
