Two migrant workers from Bihar were shot dead at Chingmeirong Kabui in Imphal on Wednesday night. The construction labourers were Gajendra Ram and Subash Yadav.
The police have registered a case. However, no arrests have been made.
Twenty-seven migrant workers have been killed in Manipur by suspected militants since February this year.
Police had issued an advisory to all migrant workers not to venture out of Imphal city.
