West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, on Sunday, came down on the Trinamool Congress' “politics of lies,” which, he said, was aimed at “confusing the people” and which needed to be exposed to rescue the State from “the toxic situation” precipitated by such politics.
He said the Trinamool was a party that believed in violence and thrived on lies. “The people will find out what is true and what is false.”
He was speaking at Harinavi, at the memorial meeting of senior CPI(M) leader and its district secretary, Santimoy Bhattacharya, who died on August 5.
