Police investigating the alleged suicide of top model Viveka Babajee are now questioning her friends and relatives.

Viveka’s friends and relatives have been called for questioning, police said, adding while no suicide note was found in her apartment at Continental Towers in suburban Bandra, several letters addressed to one Gautam has been recovered.

“According to her friends, Gautam and Viveka were dating since the past few months. We are yet to call Gautam for questioning,” a senior police official said on Saturday.

The 37-year-old model, who featured in several advertisements and ran an event management firm, Vibgyor Entertainment, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her house on Friday evening.

Police broke open the door of her house after neighbours said there was no response to their repeated calls from Viveka although she was at home.

Police have seized the letters, Viveka’s mobile and laptop from the residence. The body has been sent to the Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.
