You can now leverage up to 90% of your retirement savings parked in the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) account to have a house of your own.
Under the new rules notified by the government, EPF members can make a one-time withdrawal or use their PF savings to make instalment payments for buying a flat or a tract of land to construct a house.

Insults made on the religious faith of a particular community “unwittingly or carelessly” without malice is not an offence, the Supreme Court has clarified.
Only an “aggravated” form of insult of a religion with a “deliberate and malicious” intent to outrage that religious faith amounts to a criminal offence, the court held.

Two militants killed in Budgam encounter, says J&K police
Two militants were killed in a gunfight broke out on Saturday evening in Budgam district of central Kashmir after militants opened fire on a patrolling party of the Army, the Jammu and Kashmir police said.
A patrolling party of 53 Rashtriya Rifles came under fire from militants at village Hayatpora, 18 km from Srinagar, around 6 p.m., triggering a gunbattle between the two sides, a police official said.
