Three former Tehelka staff, whose statements had been recorded by Goa Crime Branch team in New Delhi earlier in the Tejpal alleged sexual assault case, are expected to record their statements before Judicial Magistrate First Class Court in the city on Friday.

Statements given by G. Vishnu, Shougat Dasgupta and Ishan Tankha had corroborated the complainant’s version of events in the case, the police sources said. They have corroborated that the complainant had come to meet them immediately after the alleged assault by Tejpal and they had considered resigning in protest. Their statement will be now recorded before the Magistrate.
