Three RSS men held for murder of blast accused

Police on Saturday arrested three persons, including Harshad Solanki, for the murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office-bearer Sunil Joshi, who was linked to Ajmer dargah and Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid blasts.

Solanki is already in the custody of Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad for his alleged role in the Ajmer blast case. The other two persons are Vasudev Parmar of Dewas and Anand Raj of Indore.

Five persons were wanted in connection with the murder of Sunil Joshi. Two others are absconding.

The trio was produced in the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court, which sent Solanki to judicial custody till December 30, while Mehul and Ramesh were remanded to police custody till December 24.

According to police, Solanki admitted that he had murdered Joshi.

Joshi was murdered under mysterious conditions in Dewas in December 2007.
