Three killed in BSF firing on Bangladesh border

Three persons, alleged to be cattle smugglers, were killed by Border Security Force personnel as they were trying to cross the India-Bangladesh border at Mohanganj in West Bengal's Murshidabad district on Wednesday night.

They were smuggling cattle across the border and attacked BSF guards who challenged them, District Superintendent of Police B.L. Meena told The Hindu. He said as were not identified yet, it was not possible to determine whether they are Indians or Bangladeshis.
