Three killed as buses collide in J&K

Jammu: Three persons were killed and 24 others injured when two buses collided in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said here on Wednesday.

The two buses collided at Muradpur in the district on Tuesday, killing one of the bus drivers on spot while injuring 24 others, they said.

The injured bus passengers were rushed to the district hospital. One of the injured Mohammad Bashir succumbed to his injures.

Two persons, who were critically injured, Mohammad Aslam and Riaz Ahmed were referred to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, where Riaz was pronounced as brought dead by the doctors.

A case has been registered in this connection and both the buses have been impounded, police said.
