Will Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's son Gaurav enter politics? The junior Gogoi added to the speculation when he joined Environment and Forests Minister Rockybul Hussain when the latter filed his nomination from the Samaguri constituency. Gaurav told curious journalists that he was there only to show solidarity.

“I want my son to travel to see and experience for himself the development in the State,” Mr. Gogoi said after Gaurav was seen by his father's side after a press conference at a Guwahati hotel. Is there any pressure from his father to join politics? “No. I like public service and want to do my bit for the State. I am keen to know my State and people first,” replied a diplomatic Gaurav, who has a Master's degree in Public Administration from the U.S.
