We are pleased to announce that our standalone school edition — so far available only to students of schools subscribing to it – is now on offer via newsagents and newsstands across the country. Starting today, the The Hindu In School issue can be had for a nominal price of Rs. 5 per copy, five days a week, Monday to Friday, through the school year. This new initiative is in response to the widespread public demand for our school edition to be made available to all students, and not just those studying in subscribing schools.
Launched just a little over a year ago, the innovative, eight-page broadsheet blends news, views, features, comics, crosswords, contests, columns and puzzles in an interactive and fun format that children can relate to and engage with easily. The Hindu In School’s rich and judicious content mix, backed by a vibrant and colourful design that makes striking use of pictures, graphics, and infoboxes has proved to be a hit with children, teachers and parents alike.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we now offer this exciting new paper to a wider student audience.
