The bloody trail of Maoist attacks

Mahendra Karma, a tribal leader of the Congress, along with 18 party workers, was killed in an attack by Maoists on 25th May, 2013, in Chhattisgarh. A look at some of the major Maoist attacks in the past. Compiled by Deeksha Vasant Rao

Pic 3/14: "Four villagers were killed in a blast triggered the next day
when they lifted the body of a CRPF trooper on police’s instructions."

Obviously it was easier for the police to get the villagers to lift the
body but too much trouble for the police to check for booby traps before
doing so. When we have the politicians and police behaving like rulers
and oppressors, are we supposed to think they are any better than the
maoists?
