Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao on Wednesday met IAS and IPS officers who are members of a panel looking into women’s safety.

The meeting is significant in the backdrop of the reported move of the government to enact a legislation to ensure the safety of women. Sources said the Cabinet had recently cleared the legislation.
