A woman was allegedly gang-raped by some unidentified persons late Monday night near Zaheerabad. She was shifted to the government hospital for treatment.
According to Circle Inspector Sai Eswar Goud, a 32-year-old woman from Mominpet mandal in Ranga Reddy district reached to Kohir for the weekly market.
A person offered her lift on his bike at about 9 p.m. as she has failed to catch any transport. He took her to the outskirts of Chintalagattu and allegedly raped her along with three others who were already there. Later, after some time, she came to the highway and with the help of a tourist bus driver, informed the police.
Police reached the spot and shifted her to the government hospital at Kohir for treatment. Zaheerabad police registered a case and are investigating.
