Water Board to felicitate RWH builders

Nominations invited from apartment complexes, gated communities and colonies

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has decided to felicitate people who have done good work in conservation of water by taking up construction of Rain Water Harvesting Structures (RWH) to improve ground water scenario and benefited in the yield of their bore wells in their respective premises within the limits of Outer Ring Road (ORR).

Following are the categories – Apartment complexes: One best apartment per each GHMC circle (30), Gated communities: One best gated community per each circle of HMWSSB(4) and Colonies : one best colony per each Director operation area (2).

Owners/Associations of Apartments / Gated Communities and Colonies etc., who have constructed the RWHs on their premises or in the jurisdiction in their respective areas and implemented good water conservation plan are requested to send nomination with the following details to OSD (RWH) HMWSSB online or hard copies in the format along with photographs, on or before March 15. The felicitation programme is being planned to be held on March 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Water Board head office, a press release said.
