The police personnel should always be on alert giving no scope for criticism from people, said Superintendent of Police AK Jha.

Unlike in the past, the department was better placed now in terms of facilities and equipment. There maybe minor inadequacies which the

police personnel should overcome and rededicate themselves to the society ensuring law and order to people, he said. The SP was flagging off a new fleet of two-wheelers allocated to the district. Both the Urban and Rural wing got 50 each.

One vehicle was allotted to each police station in the district.

They would be used for patrolling and other functions relating to the respective stations. “You should all conduct yourself in good manner so that the image of department is enhanced among public,” the SP said. OSD Sanpreet Singh, additional SPs Mr Yadaiah and Mr Srikanth, AR Commandant Mr Anwar Hussain and other officials were present.
