The Municipal Corporation should focus on completing the individual sanitary latrines in the city immediately, demanded Lok Satta advisor Parcha Kodandarama Rao and convenor G Jaganmohan Reddy. They said they have undertaken a survey in 30th Division where they found that of the 220 houses, 120 houses still do not have latrine facility. They said the Vivekananda Vikasa Samithi has come forward to provide bio toilets at affordable cost and the corporation should utilize the opportunity.

Some time ago, the residents were asked to build toilets and were promised monetary assistance but they were suspended half away as the money was not released.

The Lok Satta also urged people to come forward and ask officials for the assistance.
