VHR slams KCR for buying bullet-proof bus

Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Friday criticized Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for spending money on a bullet-proof luxury bus valued at Rs.5 crore to tour the interior areas of the State, saying the money should have been used for the poorer section of the society.

"KCR is spending a lot of money that too on bullet-proof bus to tour the interior areas of the state, now. Before election also he had toured the interior areas of the State, but without such a van. Today where is the need for a bullet-proof bus that too spending Rs.5 crore. It should have been used for the poorer sections of the society,” he said.
