Unoin Minster M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday condemned Congress leader Digvijaya Singh’s statement that Telangana State police encouraged Islamic terrorism, and called it "immature".

Addressing the BJP's Secunderabad Parliamentary Booth-wise Workers Meet here on Saturday, Mr. Naidu praised the role of the TS police in suppressing Maoists and terrorism, and appreciated the Telangana State government for taking legal action against Mr. Singh.

He also opposed religion-based reservation, and spoke for abolition of triple Talaaq as a measure to attain gender justice.

Praising various initiatives by the Central government under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, "the mood of people is Modi for 10 more years".

The Centre would place before people a report on its achievements of three years, on May 26, the day when the NDA government came to power three years ago.

Mr Modi had created a "new thirst for development" among people, Mr.Naidu said, and urged party workers to publicise government programmes. Terming BJP biggest party in the world, he said the party was in power in 15 states, and ruled over 65 per cent area. Mr.Naidu claimed that note ban move had brought out all the black money.
